A Post: A shocking one!

Harley let me take pictures of her! She usually acts as though i've devised a machine that takes her soul, so everytime i turn on the camera or cell phone, she runs and then stalks me all night around corners. BUT! I was trying to get my bed made up and she was being all harley-like and laying where i needed to get fitted sheets down. i decided to be a mean mommy and take her picture to piss her off and get her off the bed. instead, she stayed. and i took pictures. win win for me! enjoy one below. i'll add more at a later date. i was being pretty shaky, so i got a few good ones, but nothing crazy spectacular.
Sorry for the repeat on FB. I'll have some more blog exclusive ones soon. Also, I chose this one even though it wasn't my favorite because her eyes were super pretty here. ENJOY!

A Post: Some Haylie

Hello lovers! I have some Haylie Boo to offer. I'll try to get some other photos up, but I had to cut into my editing to get these done and printed. Enjoy!

You can click on them for the original size if youre interested.

I feel like this is a commercial for SmartWater

She loves elephants

Kim was her new BFF

This is her watching the elephants.

My mom hates this picture (and all pictures she's in) but i think that she is beautiful and haylie is hilarious

This may be my favorite of the bunch

That's a my little pony that she loves

She got red colored bubbles, but i think this looks like she went all dexter on someone with a bubble wand

This is basically how they are, Daddy trying to get a pretty picture, Haylie trying to not stop

A Post: An Apology

sorry it's been so long. the good thing about it is, though, is that i have a nice backlog of photos for you. here are six pictures for you... mostly the boy. but fun times. i'll have six more soon, and then i'll have two sets of six of Haylie. So, here goes!

I love how into the music he is when he plays.

I made those plans and that pyramid from them.

Bottoms up!

The boy and John Patrick are cooler than you. Plus, they're on a boat!

Again, how can you not be in love with this man?

I love the character of the bier garden. And I love these shoes.

Ok lovelies, I'll have more for you sometime soon. I've got a kickball picture and other fantastic things. LOVE YOU!

A Post: A second look at Stevo in the Arboretum

Hello, lovelies. Sorry that I've gotten behind, I have had a ton of work and family. I have an update right now, and probably another tomorrow. Enjoy the second part of my trip with the boy.
During his mythical journey, the boy becomes one of the trees.

And further with his brethren he basks in the sun peeking through the canopy of leaves.

And he was so enthralled, that he could barely open his eyes. (ok, i just loved the picture, and it would have been better if he wasn't closing his eyes.)

The boy met all sorts of creatures and foliage, but none more interesting than this guy.

And he moved freely, mimicking the motion of the plant life.

And this tree has a hole in it. :D

A Post: A day with the boy at the arboretum (pt 1 of 2)

Well, beautifuls, the boy and I took an adventure the Sunday before last and went to the Chesapeake Arboretum. It was perfect, chilly (so no bugs) and the lighting really helped me get my first lesson in shadows, bright light and so fourth. I feel like the trip helped me grow a lot in photo blogging. Please enjoy!

Stevo, starting out his journey as an amazing photographer- and, you , know putting a 1-up in nature.

I felt like these looked like something prehistoric. I know, the front one is out of focused, just assume that's how it's supposed to be, ok?

I could probably end up with a whole hard drive of pictures of plant life.

The iron and clay from bricks and other debris made this water so red. It seemed unnatural, yet beautifully juxtaposed with the green overhang.

They built a rail into the tree. I have a sweet picture of the actual rail, but I didn't use it.

The boy. Love.

I love how this appears to be floating.

A Post: A week past

Sorry that I seem to keep getting behind. I'm still working on it and I have a TON of photos to do, so don't worry. You'll get more love. I've got these half dozen for you now, though! ENJOY

I am a crafter. This is how you know. Those boxes are gone and this is all organized, though!

Apparently my apartment complex killed the hornets that were dwelling in this, but didn't think it necessary to remove it from a foot away from my porch. Naturally, I got close and snapped a picture.

I frothed the milk so stiff that the caramel just sat on top of my macchiato until i got half way through. Then i licked it off because I have no self control.

The boy. At one of our favorite places. Enjoying a Barry White.

None of these sheets were purchased.

Apparently, I can take over the world in this dress. Who knows, maybe one day, I will.
